How to become a Taker with the Law of Attraction

When we read this word "taker", it can repel us. It sounds so harsh. "I don't want to be a taker, do I? I want to be a giver. Givers are good, and Takers are bad...."  But look at this idea closely. Do you see the conundrum? What you're really saying is that you are good if you give, but if somebody takes that money that you're giving, then they are bad. This is a silly notion. With the Law of Attraction, nobody is good or bad. We are simply being part of the energy flow, each of us playing the role that we have either chosen or been assigned. Remember that the Law is closely tied to the idea of Yin & Yang--one cannot exist without the other. But let's assume that you understand that Takers are necessary--even paramount--in this flow of energy, and that you have either decided that you want to achieve this level, or have now found yourself in this role. Takers cannot exist without Benefactors. But where do Benefactors come from? Are they simply Givers who have decided to focus primarily on your needs? Do they come to you by accident, as long as you wait long enough? NO! Benefactors are created by Takers. So how does this happen?

How to create a Benefactor: When we have learned to become a gracious Receiver, that energy flow creates a small but important bond between the Giver and Receiver. This bond is a mutual energy flow: the Giver gives energy--most often in the form of money--to the Receiver, who in turn gives back energy in the form of their GRATITUDE. We all know how it feels to give and to receive gratitude in return. Feels pretty good, yes? And if done well, the Receiver may find that the Giver has returned, offering to give more. This is how we know that the Power of Gratitude has formed that initial bond, and it WORKS LIKE A MAGNET. We are not Money Magnets--we are Giver Magnets. When a Giver returns to giving to you, that magnet has been switched on. Continuing to return their giving with your gratitude will create a strong Receiver/Giver relationship, but at this stage, the Giver is identifying their giving as helping, because the Receiver is in need. A good example is if you walked past the same homeless man every day, and you gave him a little money each time. It makes you feel good, requires little effort or resources, and helps the homeless man get through the day. The Law of Attraction is NOT about becoming the receivers of merciful charity. There is something more.

Receiving should not be passive. In the example above, what if the homeless man accepts your charity with gratitude, and then informs you that he has a dream to become successfully wealthy? Your first reaction might be to tell him to do that the old-fashioned way: earn it, with a job. So you give him your daily pocket change and move a long, feeling good that you showed what a good person you are. This is why Givers and Receivers have not truly embraced the Power of the Universe, nor are they applying the Law of Attraction. When a Receiver has decided to no longer passively accept money, but to actively inspire Givers to give money, they are slowly transforming that Giver into a Benefactor. How do we inspire Givers to give? We certainly don't wait for it to happen. We need to take action, and set energy into motion. One of the best ways to do this is to reveal a goal via hints. Once we receive from a giver, reply with gratitude, and then inform them of a goal you have, which will require resources. Some Givers might actually jump on this goal and immediately offer to contribute to this goal; but in most cases, it's best to let them think about it before you do the Tell.

A Tell is a communicated action, often embedded in gratitude. We might thank a Giver and include within that message a phrase that spells out what you really want or need. You are not actually telling the Giver to contribute, but within the message itself, the Tell is there. "Thank you so much for your gift and always wanting to keep giving!" Here we see the gratitude, but also the words that inspire. If the bond in the relationship is weak, the Giver may simply think that they will likely help in the future, no promises; however, if the bond has become strong, the Giver will HEAR what the Universe has helped them to hear: "always want to keep giving". This helps to strengthen the bond, and the Tells can become more and more specific, always part of the Gratitude. A Tell is always accompanied with the Power of Gratitude: "Thank you for the gift. And next, I will need to pay my student loan bill." Again, the weak bond leads to a Giver hearing that you are going to pay that bill. The strong bond leads to the Giver hearing "I need to pay their student loan bill." This is the Universe at work!!! Practice your Tells--they are the key to why the Power of Gratitude is important. A Giver will only hear or read the embedded message IF the Universe is helping them to become your Benefactor.

It's time to use the Universe to CREATE AN UNBREAKABLE BOND. Once your Giver has learned the joys of focusing primarily on your needs, a special energy that some describe as euphoria begins to develop. The Universe has a way of rewarding those who follow it. Receivers and Takers use the Universe to create an energy, and that energy can be directed to specific purposes. The more specific the purpose, the more powerful the energy. When that energy is directed to inspire Givers to keep giving and to focus on your goals, they begin to feel that energy in a good way. It feels good to think about the goals before them. The Giver is drawn to the Taker's goals because it feels good. And when they give, the feeling can be euphoric. That's a wonderful reward from the Universe, working for you!!! Keep feeding your Giver this euphoria. The need to feel this euphoria becomes more important to a Giver than money. Take notice of what helps a Giver feel more giving. Ask them how they feel. Tell them that they feel good. Giving to you feels good. Sense that your words begin to have a special and inspirational power for your Giver. Note how your words readily settle into their thoughts and actions. This is a powerful bond, where you are GIVING back to your Giver a special energy that only the Universe can provide. Use the Power of the Universe, and the more your Givers give, the MORE THEY NEED TO KEEP GIVING.

Your relationship with the Universe and with your Benefactor is a self-feeding loop. It's long been taught that giving your focus and energy to the Universe feeds back to you. The same works between Takers and their Benefactors. When you "magnetize" a Giver and transform them into your Benefactor, you connect in their mind the reality that their giving to YOU gives the euphoria to them. They learn that they feel very good when they give, and that feeling then makes them want to give more. This is how their giving eventually becomes their primary need. Provide your Benefactor with a mantra to help keep their thoughts focused. Most Benefactors I've encountered report that they felt so good after giving that they needed to feel it again and again, and so they aspired to give again and again. This is a very powerful tool for any Taker who has a strong connection with the Universe.
